Nassau County Courts
The majority of Speeding Tickets and Moving Violations received in Nassau County are returnable to the Nassau County Traffic and Parking Violations Agency located at 16 Cooper Street, Hempstead. Tickets not returnable to the NCTPVA will be sent to the various village, justice and city courts located throughout Nassau County. Misdemeanor charges such as reckless driving, driving with a suspended license, and driving while intoxicated are usually returnable to the Nassau County First District Court located at 99 Main Street, Hempstead. Some misdemeanor charges will also end up at the village, justice and city courts throughout Nassau County. Felony charges ultimate will end up at the Nassau County Court in Mineola.
